Our Wedding

We first met at a friend’s wedding, and just a few days later Chris asked Megan out on our first date. We went for drinks at The Dew Drop, and what started as a simple evening quickly turned into something much more.From there, the adventures began. We’ve travelled across Europe and America together, balancing our different styles along the way - Chris convincing Megan to give rock climbing a try, and Megan introducing Chris to a slightly more relaxed pace of life, including spa days and a memorable trip to Kos.Over the years, we’ve built a life full of travel, new experiences, and plenty of laughs. On our four year anniversary, Chris proposed on Fistral Beach, making it a moment we’ll never forget.Now, we’re getting married on our five-year anniversary, exactly one year on from the proposal, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you.

The Chelsea Old Town Hall - 11am

We are so excited to invite you to our wedding ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall. Our ceremony will take place in The Brydon Room, a beautiful space filled with timeless architecture and character, providing the perfect setting as we begin our next chapter together. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am, and we kindly ask that guests arrive by 10:40am to allow time to be seated. Please note that late arrivals may not be admitted once the ceremony has started. During the ceremony, we will exchange our vows and make our commitment to one another, surrounded by our closest family and friends. This will be an intimate and meaningful moment, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you there to share it with us. Following the ceremony, we’ll gather on the steps outside the venue for a celebratory confetti moment. This will be a chance to celebrate together, capture some photographs, and enjoy a few moments before continuing on to the next part of the day.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden, Glasshouse 12pm

Following our ceremony, we invite you to join us for a meal at The Ivy Chelsea Garden in the Glasshouse Room at 12:00pm. We will be enjoying a seated, three-course meal in a relaxed and elegant setting. This will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, enjoy good food and conversation. We look forward to sharing this part of the day with you and celebrating together in such a beautiful setting. Following the meal, you are welcome to continue exploring London or make your way home at your convenience. After all, we do like an early beddies!

Timeline

There is no parking available at Chelsea Old Town Hall, so we recommend travelling by public transport where possible. The venue is well connected by London Underground and local bus routes. The nearest tube station is Sloane Square Underground Station, which is served by the District and Circle lines. From there, it is approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the Town Hall. We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey to ensure a smooth arrival ahead of the ceremony.
